You know Vnes.....Well it sucks....there is no sound, and you can't change a lot of options....luckily there is a new nes emulator, it's called 'Nescube'. You can change a lot of stuff, and you have sound....And one more thing It's completely free!, so it's free-ware, you can also download it at the official site, but I forgot that one....So check this site...

P.S. at the bottom og the site I've posted two links to .nes roms...check them out.....

Im pretty sure my phone is not playing any sound...
Besides, some of the games in the link are copyrighted, and therefore not legal. So this thread should be locked.

edit: i was wrong about the sound, there is sound. but its terribly slow.

I didn't give a link here where you can download games.....I only gave a link where you could download NesCube, and that is a free-ware....

It doesn't work on my phone (k790a), I copy it to other folder but when I try to install it says "Operation Failed." Any help?

Hmm....maybe you don't have enough space left....It worked for me, I have a K800i wich is basically the same....You could try to send it to your phone via bluetooth, it'll install automatically, maybe it'll work then....

nescube is great but please tell me your fps rate.I am getting 80 fps with super mario.This is normal or?And is there a way to playing greatly?(i am using w900i)

I just mess around with the settings, you should change sound settings aswell, that has an impact an the image fluency, too....I don't remember the settings as I accidentally removed Nescube....Just mess around a little...;)

Does it only emulate NES games or can it emulate SNES games aswell?

No SNES games sorry... Im pretty sure the phone lacks memory for that...
GBA/DS does this job way better...

Hi -spyder- .. you're obviously either not old enough to remember or not a big gamester.:D NES is Nintendo Entertainment System .. then came SNES, then N64 and now Wii

Emulators 'mimic' branded games. You get emulators for all formats ie GBA, DS, Sega, etc .. I hope this helps ;)

Yep...And this NES Emulator let's you play NES ganes like Kirby's Adventyure, Super Mario Bros....Etc....

There wasn't any pokemon games made for the NES.
Use MeBoy (Gameboy Emulator) instead:

Well there are emulators for gamecube, but I since all "new" (read: consoles after Nintendo 64) is using 128 bit CPUs they play very slow on a normal computer. Because of that (as far as I know) they are not as popular as emulators for the older systems.

BTW: intresting fact, did you know that the Xbox CPU only runs at 500 mhz (please correct me if I'm wrong) but since it can calculate bigger numbers in one cycle, it still runs heavy games without to mutch problem.

Uhm i put a bunch of old nes files inside the jar archive with winrar, and the program became bigger and stuff, but now when its in the phone it still only finds the original games that came with the package... any suggestions?;(

Your meant to just put the NES ROMS in your other folder, not inside the JAR file.
